New Delhi: Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Monday said that match referee Alan Hurst decided to abandon the fifth one-day international against Sri Lanka at Feroz Shah Kotla after consultation with both the teams. Dhoni said the track at Feroz Shah Kotla was indeed bad.
"If you look at my career, you will see this was the only abandoned match that I have been part of. It was certainly not a good wicket. So the match referee decided to abandon the match in consultation with the two teams. Now it is up to the ICC to decide on the issue," Dhoni told reporters at the launch of his own website here on Monday.
